About the cohortDMV Residency
The OSS Residency invites artists to help test and refine Open Source Studio during its development. OSS is an online platform of interconnected virtual studios where participants share artistic work, research, and ideas.
Residents will use OSS for ongoing artistic exchange: sharing their practice, engaging with fellow artists, and documenting feedback on the platform. These experiences will help the team understand how OSS can better support artistic practice and education.
Artists are welcome to begin a new project, bring an existing project, or use the residency to explore project ideas and receive conceptual feedback. The emphasis is on sharing work in progress, experimentation, and dialogue. Finished artworks and highly polished posts are not expected.
