OSS Editor Demo + App Navigation Showcase

I built a demo to showcase a revised page-authoring experience, a new app navigation framework, and an updated UI style. This demo is meant to be a jumping-off point for identifying features that could be implemented right away, features worth keeping on a wishlist, and features to reject.

Whenever we meet I can share a quick tour of the demo and the thinking behind it.

Give it a try! Most of the work so far has been reorganizing existing features and sprinkling in a few new ones.

Two things to focus on:

1. Publish settings interaction styles. On the Editor screen, inside Publish settings, I've built three different interaction styles for categorizing a post: Tree, Chips, and Steps. Try all three and see which one makes the posting/publishing experience clearest and easiest to use.
2. Persistent App Bar + Contextual Toolbar. This replaces the current left-side nav bar with a system that is designed to be more flexible and less intrusive. Press on the page title at the top center to open a contextual explore menu. What do you think of this layout?
