Completion of the Discovery
For the past month, I have been meeting with vendors, advisors, and other colleagues to address the creation of a new telematic performance platform that provides synchronization and alignment of online performers. It has been a wild ride, from breakdowns with vendors to illuminating ideas from the research community. One major breakthrough is the release of Max 9.2 and its new v8 networking tools authored by Cycling '74 developer Joshua Kit Clayton. Friday I meet with Joshua to close the Discovery. My hope is that we are ready to embark on something new and revolutionary to enhance the Telematic Theater and Third Space Network platforms. We are also planning to present the results of this work at the 2027 IRCAM Workshops.
